KOUSa is back in Edmonton!

To our KOUSa community,

I'll be honest with you .... it's been a while.

Two years is a long time to go quiet, and if you've been with us since the beginning, you deserve more than a polished announcement. You deserve the real story.

KOUSa has been on pause. Life happened, priorities shifted, and the little brand I poured my heart into for seven years needed to take a breath. But here's what I've learned in that time: some things don't just go away. The love for beautiful, cozy, intentional living? That never left. Neither did you and that means everything to me.

What We've Been Up To

As many of you remember, we made a big move. These past two years have been spent mostly in Quebec, where we took on one of the most rewarding and humbling projects of our lives: building a cabin from the ground up. 

It was everything you'd imagine. Early mornings, hard decisions, beautiful chaos, and the kind of satisfaction that comes from creating something with your hands in a place that takes your breath away. If KOUSa taught me anything about craftsmanship and intentional living, building that cabin put it all to the test.

But Edmonton kept calling. This is where our roots are, where our community is, and where KOUSa was always meant to live. So we made a decision that felt right the moment we said it out loud: we're renting the cabin and we're going back, giving other families the chance to experience that little piece of heaven.

Coming back with fresh eyes, a new chapter behind us, and honestly? A lot of exciting ideas for what KOUSa can become next.

I've been asking the question: how do we bring even more value to the people who've trusted us all these years? 

And I think we've found some exciting answers

What's Coming and Why We're Excited

KOUSa is evolving. We're expanding beyond our handcrafted roots into a broader world of home comfort and intentional living. And we're coming back with more to offer than ever before. That means:

More products. We're carefully curating a wider range of home goods textiles, outdoor living, cozy essentials all chosen with the same eye for quality and warmth that KOUSa has always stood for.

Patio Cushion Facelifts — We're Back and Ready. This one is close to our heart. Over the years, we've transformed hundreds of outdoor patio sets right here in Edmonton giving worn, faded cushions a brand new life with custom upholstery. We know how much demand there is for this, and we're bringing it back. If your patio set has seen better days, don't replace it let us restore it. Stay tuned for everything you need to know.

Real, useful content. Starting now, we'll be sharing guides, tips, and honest recommendations right here on the blog including how to know when it's time for a cushion facelift, how to choose the right fabric for Edmonton's climate, and so much more.

A community, not just a Brand. We want KOUSa to be the friend who has great taste and always gives you the straight answer .... no fluff, no filler.

Running a small brand is a deeply personal thing, and knowing this community exists on the other side is what made coming back feel not just possible, but necessary.
